Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jardani Jovonovich (ranked 286 p4p, 645 weight class) and Tao Pai (ranked 36 p4p, 90 weight class). Tao Pai told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pai with the inside leg kick.
Pai throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jovonovich uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pai.

Jovonovich has managed to clinch.

Pai breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pai lands with a right hand.
It looks like Jardani Jovonovich has been cut.
Pai lands a head shot.
Pai looks for the body kick but Jovonovich saw that one coming.
Jovonovich takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Pai punishes Jovonovich's body with a nice straight punch.
A thudding body kick lands there by Pai!

Jovonovich clinches up with Pai and pushes him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jovonovich gets control of Pai's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jovonovich will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Pai would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Jovonovich has his feet on Pai's thighs here. He's pushed Pai off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Pai screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
