Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Balink Tarlah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zhandouji Quantou!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quantou tries for a takedown but Tarlah circles away easily
and Tarlah counters with a straight right hand.
Nice sprawl there from Tarlah as Quantou shoots in.
Tarlah drops down looking for a counter takedown but Quantou sprawls and moves away.
Quantou tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tarlah defends well and Quantou ends up having to push Tarlah into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Balink Tarlah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zhandouji Quantou.

Quantou throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tarlah's waist but Tarlah gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Quantou off to one side.
It looked like Tarlah was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Quantou.

Quantou shoots in looking for a takedown. Tarlah tries to sprawl out of it but Quantou keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tarlah manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Quantou shoots in for a double leg but Tarlah sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Tarlah remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

It looks like Diego Hageman has been cut.

A jab-cross combination lands for Peramaki and sends Hageman crashing to the mat! Peramaki follows him down to the mat - Hageman regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Peramaki sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Peramaki takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Hageman has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Peramaki is working for a rear naked choke. Hageman is not defending it well and Peramaki has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Hageman refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Hageman's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
