The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva moves in looking to clinch but Brashears pushes him off. Silva clinches with his opponent.
Silva is looking to break free of the clinch but Brashears has double underhooks. Brashears pulls guard. Silva preventing the sweep. Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brashears has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Brashears's legs - danger averted. Silva loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Brashears controlling Silva's posture. Brashears throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Brashears wants to sweep here but Silva controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brashears wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brashears walks away with a smile on his face. Silva gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brashears gets slowly back to his feet. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Silva has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Silva!

Silva manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Jorge Silva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ryan Brashears is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Silva working for a triangle but Brashears defends it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Brashears showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Brashears, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - gangster throws out the jab but it was never going to land. gangster takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like jimo gangster has been cut. gangster throws an overhand right that lands on One's shoulder, as One tries to avoid the shot. One keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
One slips a jab and a cross from gangster.
Left hook, right uppercut from One. This has been an exciting period of action! gangster misses with a double jab
enabling One to counter with a crisp jab. Nice body kick there by One. gangster looks gassed! One throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and gangster counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps One thinking. One misses with a wild combination.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from One, right into the meat.
One scores with a kick to the midsection. One drops gangster with a naaaaasty hook - gangster is in real trouble here! One dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Kemp should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Whiskey avoids the head kick by Kemp.
Whiskey closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Whiskey working away. Whiskey tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. A bit of a lull in the action here. Whiskey scoring with punches from side control. Kemp manages to get back to half guard. Kemp moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Whiskey postures up in Kemp's guard and throws a big left but Kemp blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kemp looking to hit a scissor sweep but Whiskey is one step ahead there. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kemp can do anything to dispel that myth. Whiskey tries to free his leg and advance position but Kemp is retaining full guard. Whiskey trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kemp working a defensive guard here.

Kemp avoids the attempt from Whiskey to control. Kemp is in the full mount, landing strikes. Whiskey tries to get back to half guard but can't. Whiskey wants to control but Kemp is having none of it. Kemp with good strikes from the mount here! Kemp content just to control the position here.

Whiskey wants to control but Kemp is having none of it. Kemp looking to control and managing it successfully. Kemp lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kemp prevents Whiskey from getting the reversal. Kemp controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Catin Kemp will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Horrible takedown by Whiskey or perhaps it was just good defense by Kemp which made him look bad. Whiskey is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kemp keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Catin Kemp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Whiskey shoots in but Kemp avoids the takedown attempt easily. Whiskey takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Kemp tries to clinch but Whiskey moves out of range. Kemp shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Whiskey as he avoids it easily. Kemp ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kemp shoots for a takedown but Whiskey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Whiskey. No joy for Kemp on that attempt. Kemp misses with a double jab.
Whiskey keeps the fight on the outside. Kemp shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Whiskey pinned against the cage. Whiskey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kemp leaves Whiskey with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Whiskey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kemp.
Kemp misses with a shot to the body and Whiskey counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kemp is pressing down on Whiskey's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Whiskey stopping the sweep attempt from Kemp. Whiskey thows a big elbow that misses. Whiskey postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Whiskey missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Whiskey trying to control the position from guard on top but Kemp is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kemp tries to land a sweep but no joy. Whiskey wants to control from the top but Kemp keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kemp misses with a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kemp just misses with a punch to the body.
Kemp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Whiskey shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Whiskey showed some decent athleticism there. Whiskey thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kemp controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Whiskey thows a huge punch but Kemp dodges it nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Rye Whiskey showed his dominance in that final round. I think Whiskey has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
