Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hrvoje Vinkovic!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Vinkovic.
Jones defending well as Vinkovic loads up on a big left hand.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Vinkovic has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Jones half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

You can see the frustration on Jones's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Vinkovic is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Vinkovic gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Vinkovic gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Vinkovic apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Jones closes the distance and clinches.
