Undercard bout


Mike Gamble had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 161.0, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Rhett Marquez was cancelled.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAuley avoids the head kick by Probert.
McAuley throws a hook to the side of Probert's head but Probert sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Probert is defended easily by McAuley.
McAuley misses with a double jab.

Probert feints and as McAuley raises his hands in defense, Probert changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
McAuley controls Probert momentarily but Probert frees himself.
Probert stands and throws McAuley's legs to the side, diving into side control.

McAuley is trying to stand and escape here. He's got onto all fours but that's just let Probert take his back! Uh oh - Probert has got a rear naked choke here! McAuley is forced to tap! It's all over! One monent is all it takes in this sport!

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Wagner (ranked 2809 p4p, 5591 weight class) and Erich Von Lewinksi (ranked 318 p4p, 520 weight class). Von Lewinksi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: German Anthem. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Von Lewinksi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wagner sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Von Lewinksi somewhat.
Von Lewinksi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wagner but Wagner pushes him off and we're back to square one.
