Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dana White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gianni Du Buisson! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Du Buisson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. White throws a head kick that misses. White is looking to clinch. White looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Du Buisson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. White not landing any meaningful shots this time. White is looking to take a break and control but Du Buisson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Du Buisson missing with punches from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Du Buisson trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. White prevents Du Buisson from improving his position. White is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Du Buisson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with White. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Du Buisson is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Du Buisson tries to hold on but White pushes him away. White is looking to work his way around to Du Buisson's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Du Buisson is trying to reverse the position but instead White has taken his back - oops! Du Buisson can't escape the position.
Du Buisson avoids the strikes from White. White is not going to allow Du Buisson to sit and survive in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White tries to keep control of the position but Du Buisson is staying busy. Du Buisson defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of White's arms. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Du Buisson's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
White has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Du Buisson prevents White from getting a body triangle. Du Buisson trying to get back to his feet but White is in full control for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Du Buisson is keeping busy.

Du Buisson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! White is breathing heavily. You get the feeling that Du Buisson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Poor strikes thrown by White there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! White gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! White dives in for a single leg takedown but Du Buisson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Du Buisson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by White after a bit of a struggle. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dana White dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Sloppy strikes from Du Buisson. Those never looked like landing. White stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and White wants it to stay on the feet. Du Buisson with a jab. No luck with that takedown attempt from White. Du Buisson throws a fast counter high kick but White manages to duck under it in time. White closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Du Buisson to the mat! Du Buisson manages to get full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Du Buisson wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Du Buisson pulls White in close to prevent any damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Du Buisson is trying to control the position but White postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Du Buisson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and White dives into side control.
Du Buisson tries to buck White off but White is having none of it. White tries to advance to mount but Du Buisson denies him. Du Buisson tries to get back to half guard but can't. White trying to control the position but Du Buisson is working away. White has control of an arm but Du Buisson manages to advance to White's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Du Buisson is striking well from the back but White escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being. Du Buisson thows a huge punch but White dodges it nicely.
Dana White overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. White is not content to let Du Buisson control the position. White moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. White keeping full guard, as Du Buisson tries to pass. Du Buisson stays in close to White's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Du Buisson wants to pass the guard but White is keeping the position. Du Buisson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. White wants to stand and escape but Du Buisson is having none of it. Du Buisson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Du Buisson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. White is keeping the position for now. Du Buisson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and White dives on top into guard.
White decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Du Buisson tries for a takedown but White sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. White half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Du Buisson closes the distance and clinches. Du Buisson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice takedown defense from White. No joy for Du Buisson on that attempt. As Du Buisson tries to get set, White tries to push him back and clinch up but Du Buisson manages to avoid the attempt. Dana White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gianni Du Buisson. Du Buisson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Du Buisson scores with a head kick. White tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Du Buisson instigates a clinch. Du Buisson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but White gets the underhooks and prevents it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. White gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Du Buisson.

A close second round but Gianni Du Buisson will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round! White with a poor takedown and Du Buisson counters with a body kick. A kick lands to the mid section there for Du Buisson. White throws a series of punches but Du Buisson moves out of range. White shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Du Buisson is trying to defend but White finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Du Buisson has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but White is on him like a limpet, forcing Du Buisson back against the cage. Du Buisson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Du Buisson clinches. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Du Buisson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dana White is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nice sprawl there from White as Du Buisson shoots in. White seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Du Buisson shoots in but no luck this time. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Du Buisson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Dana White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gianni Du Buisson. White tries to clinch but Du Buisson is having none of it. Du Buisson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Du Buisson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but White moves out of range and avoids them all easily. White digs a good hook to Du Buisson's body.

White tries for a takedown but Du Buisson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A punch combination from Du Buisson misses. Du Buisson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from White. Du Buisson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? White is fending him off so far but Du Buisson persists. Nope, White circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Du Buisson fails with the takedown. Du Buisson moves into the clinch. White is trying to pull guard but Du Buisson has him pressed against the cage. Du Buisson breaks the clinch.

White gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! White is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Du Buisson trying to control but White is working from the bottom.

Du Buisson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. White wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Du Buisson connects with a solid leg kick. Du Buisson throws a nice looking combination but White bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A decent looking body kick lands there for Du Buisson. Du Buisson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but White manages to avoid it. No luck for Du Buisson with that takedown attempt. Du Buisson moves into the clinch. Du Buisson has White pushed against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Gianni Du Buisson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Du Buisson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Svensson stuns Villa with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Villa misses with a straight right. Svensson now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Villa lands a nice looking kick to the body. Svensson takes a step back to recover. Nice cross by Svensson. Danga de danga de dang - Svensson scores with a four punch combination! It looks like Antoine Villa has been cut. Svensson tests Villa's chin there with a solid looking shot. Svensson thuds his shin into the meat of Villa's side. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Svensson lands a body shot.

Villa tries to get to his feet but Svensson is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Villa is in need of a savior and steps in!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jorge tries to clinch but Ruiz is having none of it. Ruiz is looking to counter with head kicks. Jorge looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Jorge drives through and clinches with Ruiz against the cage.
Ruiz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jorge moves in looking to clinch but Ruiz pushes him off. Jorge doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ruiz counters with a nice uppercut. Jorge tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Ruiz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Jorge shoots in looking for a takedown. Ruiz tries to sprawl out of it but Jorge keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ruiz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wacken looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vorg Wacken. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hansen missing with a left hand there. Wacken was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Hansen misses with an uppercut. Wacken throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hansen was covering up waiting for the punch and Wacken finishes the takedown easily into guard. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hansen wants to control but Wacken is keeping busy and won't allow it. Hansen tries to get to full guard but Wacken has control of the leg. Wacken wants to work for an arm triangle but Hansen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Wacken jumps into side control! You can see the frustration on Hansen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We've been informed that Hansen has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Hansen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wacken haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hansen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hans Hansen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wacken throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A little jabbing left from Hansen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Wacken has his takedown stuffed and Hansen counters with a stiff right hand. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wacken staying out of range there. Hansen throws a body shot but no joy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wacken shoots in but Hansen avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vorg Wacken. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hansen misses with a straight right.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mechanoid connects with a nice short shot to Howell's temple. Mechanoid looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Mechanoid winds up and cracks Howell with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Mechanoid scoring with strikes but Howell is staying in there. Mechanoid landing strikes from the mount and Howell is in trouble! Howell is in all sorts of trouble here.
Mechanoid postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Howell badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Mechanoid around the waist but Mechanoid pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Mechanoid is the winner by TKO! Mechanoid jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
