With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Techno Viking! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rush scores with the left hand. Viking knows he should have avoided that one. Viking throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rush scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Rush keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Viking. Rush looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Viking stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rush. A nice inside leg kick there by Rush. That's going to slow Viking down. Viking looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Viking walks into a left hand. Rush lands a nice looking kick to the body. Viking takes a step back to recover. Viking takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Rush fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Viking looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Rush connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rush looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Viking throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rush lands the left hand. Viking shoots in but no luck this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Viking takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Rush digs a good body shot into Viking's ribs. Viking takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Viking chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rush can pounce on him.

Rush throws a leg kick which misses Viking's front leg but catches the back leg as Viking tries to avoid it. Viking throws a poor cross that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. The fight moves into the clinch position. Viking misses with a punch on the inside.
Rush tries to throw a body punch but Viking avoids it by throwing Rush back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rush lands with a left to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rush takes a shot to the head. Viking throws a punch but it's blocked by Rush. Viking stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Viking misses with an elbow over the top. Viking blocks an uppercut.
Viking is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rush is defending well for now. A right hook to the body lands for Viking.

Viking is working Rush over against the cage. Rush looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Rush is breathing heavily. Viking lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Viking has picked Rush up - he's going for a ride! Viking dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Viking lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Viking works his foot free and advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Viking controlling from the full mount. Viking lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Viking takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Viking's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Viking landing strikes, looking to finish! Viking tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Viking lands a big shot there that rocks Rush but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Viking tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tate Rush will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Rush throws a quick inside leg kick. Rush throws a head kick that half lands.
Viking fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Good standup being displayed there by Rush as he connects with a hook. Viking takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Viking closes the distance and clinches. Rush is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Viking tries a body shot but Rush blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Viking struggles to land a body shot inside as Rush controls his hands.

Viking lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Viking has hold of one of Rush's legs. Rush is fighting the takedown attempt but Viking gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Viking slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Viking works a leg free and moves into half guard. Viking passes to side control. Viking advances nicely into full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Viking controlling from the full mount. A nice elbow there by Viking. Viking is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Viking!

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marcus Dowling! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dowling throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Power dodges the punch combination from Dowling.
Power tries to clinch but Dowling is having none of it. Dowling lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Dowling throws a series of punches but Power avoids them all with ease. Power closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dowling did well to prevent Power getting side control. Power is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Power wants to work for an arm triangle but Dowling is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dowling felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Power is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's one minute gone in the round. Power wants to free his trapped foot but Dowling is holding on for dear life with his legs. Power is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dowling doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Power. Dowling has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Power is on him like a limpet, forcing Dowling back against the cage. Dowling breaks from the clinch.
Dowling throws a series of punches but Power moves out of range. Dowling feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Powers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Dowling cracks a nice hook into Power's ribs. Dowling lands a big uppercut and Power crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Power looks OK. Dowling waves Power back to his feet! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dowling circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Power to the canvas! Power doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Dowling keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mil pushes Rodney up against the cage in a clinch. Mil looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Mil turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mil manages to end up in side control. Rodney is not content to let Mil control the position. Mil passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Rodney! Mil tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. BOOM! Mil connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Mil postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rodney looks a forlorn figure.

Mil unloading with bombs! Mil has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mil is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Rodney goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Mil!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guy connects with a body shot that sends Craig's belly button to the back. Guy stuns Craig with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Guy tests Craig's chin there with a solid looking shot. It looks like Burt Craig has been cut. Guy fails to land with a series of punches.
A left lands for Guy. Craig looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Craig misses with a hook
and Guy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Craig takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Nice uppercut lands for Guy. That snapped Craig's head back.
Oooooh!!! Guy has knocked Craig down with a huge combo! Guy steps away and waves a wobbly Craig back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Craig is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Craig darts in trying to clinch and Guy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Oh Craig is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Guy has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Craig moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Craig seems to have got his legs back now. Guy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Craig is looking to clinch. Craig walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Burt Craig's cut is getting worse. Craig on the wrong end of a nice hook. Guy scores with a body shot.

Craig prevents Guy from improving his position. Craig thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Craig wants to lay and pray for a moment but Guy keeps working. Guy is holding on to half guard well. Still in half guard, Craig seems content to control. Craig thows a huge punch but Guy dodges it nicely.

Guy tries to lock up and control but Craig gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Craig thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Craig throwing strikes here but Guy is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Guy tries to lock up and control but Craig gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Guy keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Craig has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Guy's face.
Craig quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Craig but it's paid off an Guy is forced to tap! Nice work by Craig.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krulov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vice is fending him off so far but Krulov persists. Nope, Vice circles away and we're back to standing. Krulov has his takedown stuffed and Vice counters with a shoot takedown. Krulov fights it but they end up in guard. Krulov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Vice manages to get himself to full guard.
Krulov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Vice looking for a guillotine here but Krulov defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vice had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Krulov defends it easily. Krulov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krulov controls from within his opponent's guard. Vice is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Krulov frees his head nicely. Oh but Vice has switched to an armbar! Krulov is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

and Violet makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Owens really felt that one! Violet swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Owens has had enough of the clinch but Violet keeps him there for the moment. Owens is trying to break free. Owens looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Violet working some nice short punches in the clinch. Owens taking a breather. Owens pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Violet clobbers Owens with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Violet looks to score with a jab to the body but Owens is just out of range. Violet connects with a good right hand that stumbles Owens. Owens circles away out of range and recomposes himself. It looks like Zaid Owens has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Violet uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Owens has time to react. Violet moves away from the strike by Owens. Violet has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Freaky Fight Club in the buildup to the fight. Violet looks to score with a jab to the body but Owens is just out of range. Owens looks to land a left hand but Violet moved out of range nicely. Owens displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Violet throws out the jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Violet darts in trying to clinch and Owens counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Owens throws a jab when Violet was well out of range. A quick step to the side and Violet tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Owens just misses with a punch to the body.

Violet is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Violet connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Violet lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That has opened up Zaid Owens's cut even more. Violet keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Violet throws an overhand right that lands on Owens's shoulder, as Owens tries to avoid the shot. A decent looking cross lands there for Violet. Violet scores with a spinning back kick! Owens misses with a left hand and Violet counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Violet throws a jab when Owens was well out of range. Owens rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Violet counter with a right hand. Violet dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Owens. That did some damage! Owens misses the jab. Violet steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Owens. Owens drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Owens has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Violet finds it's way round the side to connect with Owens's head. Owens lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A big right from Owens misses. Owens throws a hook to the side of Violet's head but Violet sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Violet scores with a three punch combo!
The cut above Zaid Owens's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Owens throws a right hand that Violet ducks under and follows up with a left that Violet also avoids with ease. Violet ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Owens moves away. Violet lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Owens is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Owens throws an overhand right that lands on Violet's shoulder, as Violet tries to avoid the shot. Owens misses with a straight right. Violet connects with a single shot there. Owens is still on wobbly legs! Can Violet finish him? Nice uppercut lands for Violet. That snapped Owens's head back.
Zaid Owens's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Violet throws a body punch but Owens moves out of range. Owens slips a jab from Violet. Owens lands a right hook to the body.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Crazy Mike! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jayden Marsh! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marsh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mike throws out the jab. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Marsh! But no joy. Mike attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Mike misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Marsh steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mike. Crazy Mike seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mike throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A punch lands to the side of Mike 's head but he takes it in his stride. Marsh takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. A slow jab from Mike misses its intended target. A low kick from Mike misses and Marsh counters with a nice right hand that sends Mike toppling to the canvas! Mike scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Marsh finish him?! Mike is rocked! Mike seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mike misses with a right hand and Marsh counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jerome Browning! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Santa Cruz! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Browning fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cruz to the ground. Browning is now in Cruz's guard. Browning stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cruz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Browning trying to control but Cruz is working from the bottom. Cruz wants to stand up but Browning is controlling him. Cruz is controlling Browning's posture. Browning content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Cruz working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Browning. Browning trying to control the position from guard on top but Cruz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Browning has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cruz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cruz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Browning cracks Cruz with a solid left hand. Browning is looking to work some ground and pound but Cruz has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Browning makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Cruz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cruz keeping full guard, as Browning tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Browning won't allow Cruz to sweep him here. Browning with a flurry of punches that miss. Cruz wants to stand but Browning is controlling the position. Browning stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cruz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Browning keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cruz's head. Cruz keeping moving, preventing Browning from controlling successfully. Cruz has momentary wrist control but Browning slips an elbow through the middle. Browning distracts Cruz with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cruz can do anything to dispel that myth. Cruz wants to get back to his feet but Browning is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Browning throwing strikes but missing. Browning scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Browning cracks Cruz with a solid left hand. Browning postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Cruz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Browning landing with the ground and pound. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Browning makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Browning content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Cruz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Cruz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Browning. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Browning with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Cruz wants to stand up but Browning is controlling him. Cruz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Browning advances to half guard. Browning scoring with strikes to the body and head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Browning working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Browning drops an elbow to the side of Cruz's head. Cruz is rocked! Cruz is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Browning scores with a couple of nice shots. Cruz is still in real trouble! Can Browning finish him? Browning lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Cruz! More strikes land and this one is all over! Browning jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
