The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Teodorovic throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tarlah was covering up waiting for the punch and Teodorovic finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Teodorovic wants to control from the top but Tarlah keeps moving.

Teodorovic drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tarlah looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tarlah looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tarlah!

Keaton Hayden had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Krzysztof Zakrzewski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Hageman moves in looking to clinch but Peramaki pushes him off.

Peramaki gets caught flat footed, as Hageman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Peramaki will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hageman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Hageman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Peramaki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hageman has managed to get both his arms back between Peramaki's legs - danger averted.
We've been hearing good reports from Peramaki's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Shrute gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Anderson points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Shrute wakes up just in time to hear Anderson thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
