2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pancho Dee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jed Hill! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Lou da Vinci and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dee shoots for a double leg takedown but Hill sprawls well. He's pushed Dee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hill darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Hill is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hill is looking for a kimura but Dee is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hill to get the leverage. Dee is trying to stand back up but Hill is controlling him
Hill is keen to just control but Dee is a slippery customer. Hill prevents Dee from improving his position. Hill passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dee! Dee tries to lock up and control but Hill gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Dee tries to reverse the position but Hill maintains control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hill sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Hill prevents Dee from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill punching from mount but Dee doing a good job of avoiding damage. Dee regains half guard. Dee wants to get back to full guard. Hill is trying to control the action in half guard but Dee is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Dee tries to roll over but Hill keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dee won't allow Hill to pass to mount. Hill decides to stand up. Hill throws a head kick but Dee moves out of range.
Hill shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Dee tries to hold on but Hill postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dee tries to reverse the position but Hill maintains control. Hill stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Dee is breathing heavily. Hill gets caught flat footed, as Dee shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hill wants to stand up but Dee is controlling him. Dee looking to sit in guard and control but Hill gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dee wants to stand and escape but Hill is having none of it. Hill wants to control from the top but Dee keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jed Hill dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hill shoots and misses and Dee counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hill trying to keep a closed guard but Dee is proving a slippery customer.

Dee showing good wrestling skills to control the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hill lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dee! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dee is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill avoids the attempt from Dee to control. Hill is working for a guillotine from mount but Dee frees his head quite easily.

Dee is desperately trying to improve his position but Hill has a good base and remains in mount. Hill unloads with some shots from mount but Dee bucks and avoids them well.

Dee is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hill pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Dee is working to get back to half guard.
Hill looking to control but Dee is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pancho Dee dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Hill with a lazy takedown attempt and Dee counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hill keeping full guard, as Dee tries to pass. Dee advances to half guard. Dee is thwarting Hill's attempts to control the position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dee in particular looking to stall. Dee is looking to take a break and control but Hill is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hill looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dee passes the guard and advances to mount! Dee controlling from the full mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Poor strikes thrown by Dee there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Pancho Dee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dee trying to control but he's not successful this time. Dee lands a big elbow. Hill has given up his back here.
Dee throwing sloppy strikes. Hill controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Dee patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Dee is hanging on to Hill's back as he tries to escape.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rod shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bernard as he avoids it easily. Rod will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rod fails with a takedown attempt. Rod tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bernard throws a nice inside leg kick. A swing and a miss from Rod. Bernard shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rod's guard. Rod is looking for a triangle but Bernard pushes his legs off easily.
Rod looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rod controlling the position. Bernard trying to control the position from guard on top but Rod is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rod will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ram Rod. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rod shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bernard as he jumps to the side. Bernard throws the left hand but Rod avoids the punch easily. Bernard lands with a thumping leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bernard has a takedown stuffed. Rod doesn't manage to clinch there - Bernard circles away.
Bernard decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Bernard is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Rod looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rod is breathing heavily. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Bernard looks to land a combination but Rod avoids it well. Rod tries to clinch but fails miserably and Bernard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Rod tries to clinch and Bernard moves into the clinch. Bernard breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rod bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You can see the frustration on Bernard's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bernard tries to bench press Rod off him but Rod keeps the position. Rod controlling the position from side mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bernard regains half guard there - taking advantage of Rod's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Bernard is not content to let Rod control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bernard is trying to control but can't.

Rod is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Bernard reverses the position - he's now on top in Rod's guard. Bernard wants to control from the top but Rod keeps moving.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rod throws a jab when Bernard was well out of range. Ram Rod is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rod swings and misses with a shot to the body and Rod takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Rod misses with a takedown attempt and Bernard counters with a lovely straight right hand! Rod shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bernard but Bernard pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rod tries to clinch but fails miserably and Bernard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A left lands for Bernard. Rod doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bernard counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ram Rod. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bernard rushes Rod and presses him up against the cage. Rod tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bernard just stands there and leans against the cage. Bernard has a couple of punches blocked by Rod.
Rod drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bernard pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bernard bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rod's head backwards.
And that's the end of the fight! Trever Bernard comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Bernard has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Cool shoots in for a takedown but Ice Breaker shows good takedown defense. Daddy Cool seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cool tries to clinch up. Ice Breaker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cool as he avoids it easily. Ice Breaker swats away the attempt to clinch by Cool. Cool tries to close the distance and clinch but Ice Breaker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cool moves into the clinch successfully.

He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lucas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Playmaker is fending him off so far but Lucas persists. Nope, Playmaker circles away and we're back to standing. Playmaker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Playmaker stops Lucas from standing up. Playmaker trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lucas working for a triangle but Playmaker defends it easily.

Playmaker regains half guard. Playmaker has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Lucas escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Lucas! Kane Lucas has got the better of the ground game so far. Lucas tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lucas has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Playmaker is looking for a sweep. Lucas landing a few strikes. Lucas trying to control the action but Playmaker is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kane Lucas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Playmaker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lucas swivels though and keeps the full guard. Playmaker connects with a couple of short punches. Lucas manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
BOOM! Lucas connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Lucas swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rox looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Champ tries to get to full guard but Rox has control of the leg. Rox is pressing down on Champ's thigh, looking to free his foot. Champ is holding on for now. Rox seems to be looking for submissions.
Rox is thwarting Champ's attempts to control the position. Rox stands up out of the half guard. A big left from Rox misses. The fighters circling - Rox throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rox clinches up with Champ and pushes him back against the cage. Rox escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Champ's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Champ is trying to stick to Rox's back but Rox is turning into Champ. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Champ's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rox. Champ utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Rox is looking to take a break and control but Champ is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rox wants to lay and pray for a moment but Champ keeps working. Rox is really struggling to control Champ but he's trying to hold on to the position. Champ is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Rox had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Champ is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rox Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Champ's back instead. Champ fending off the submission attempt from Rox. Rox is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Champ is defending well though. Rox let's go of the attempt for now. Rox struggling to keep hold of the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. I really don't envy Champ right now.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Champ wants to sweep here but Rox controlling him for the moment. Earnie Champ has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rox might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rox stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Champ swivels though and keeps the full guard.
