Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowly tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Smith defends well and Lowly ends up having to push Smith into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lowly takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Lowly looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Smith is fending him off so far but Lowly persists. Nope, Smith circles away and we're back to standing.
Lowly walks into a jab.
Lowly dives in and grabs Smith's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes down on Lowly's head and hops out.
Smith was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Keishin Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Lowly.
A jab from Smith does it's job there.
Lowly takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Lowly closes the distance and pushes Smith back into the cage.

Lowly lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smith wants to stand back up but Lowly manages to pass into side control.
Smith parries the strikes from Lowly easily there. Lowly is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Smith to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lowly wants to stand but Smith has his arm trapped.
Smith is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Lowly working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Lowly stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Smith moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Lowly is rocked!

It looks like Sean Lowly has been cut.
Smith throws a head kick but Lowly moves out of range.
And Lowly responds with a good body kick, but Smith manages to step out the way in time.
Lowly is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
Keishin Smith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Smith scores with a hook to the body. Lowly takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nice sprawl there from Smith as Lowly shoots in.
Lowly gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Smith gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Lowly is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
