The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Leonard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nastula defends it nicely.

and Nastula makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Nastula keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Nastula got a little sloppy there for a moment and Leonard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nastula has managed to get both his arms back between Leonard's legs - danger averted.

Nastula is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Leonard is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Leonard has escaped and now he's on top!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Nastula stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leonard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Leonard is trying to control the position but Nastula postures up.

Nastula postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Leonard is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nastula, into his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nastula moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Leonard shoots for a double leg takedown but Nastula sprawls well. He's pushed Leonard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Leonard forces Nastula back against the cage and clinches.
Leonard jumps guard but Nastula stands there with Leonard around his waist. Leonard gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Nastula has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Leonard clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

That was a close second round but I would say that Buzzard Leonard will probably get the nod.

Nastula drops back, looking for a kneebar! Leonard looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Leonard looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Leonard!

Leonard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nastula is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Leonard tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Leonard has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Leonard is looking to take a break and control but Nastula is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Leonard works to advance to full mount. Nastula defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nastula manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Leonard tries to stand and escape but Nastula is controlling the position.
Leonard seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nastula does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Leonard shoots in looking for a takedown but Nastula manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Leonard's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Zakrzewski has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Peramaki is really squeezing tight and eventually Zakrzewski passes out! Peramaki breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
