The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gab closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zaluchi circles away. Gab tries a head kick but it misses.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Zaluchi is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Gab looks calm but he's in trouble here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zala looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Zala shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in DeQuad's guard. Zala connects with a couple of short punches. DeQuad wants to stand up but Zala is controlling him. DeQuad wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Zala manages to pass to side control. DeQuad wants to get back to his feet.
DeQuad trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Zala not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Zala sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. DeQuad defending well though. Zala thumps the canvas. TeBob DeQuad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. DeQuad throws a hook to the side of Zala's head but Zala sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Zala bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Zala working the ground and pound. DeQuad taking punishment in the form of punches.

Zala cracks DeQuad with a big elbow. Zala lands a decent elbow from side control. A lull in the action here. DeQuad is not in a great position here, taking some shots. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zala connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused DeQuad some visible discomfort.

Zala feints and as DeQuad raises his hands in defense, Zala changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Zala slips nicely into half guard. Zala looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks DeQuad with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Zala passes to full mount! Zala putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! DeQuad tries to buck Zala off but he can't manage it. Zala connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
DeQuad wants to get back to his feet.
DeQuad takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zala lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. A nice elbow there by Zala. Zala punishing his opponent with strikes. Zala landing punches.
DeQuad is rocked! Oooooh, big shot lands for Zala! DeQuad is hurt baaadly! Zala is firing away with more strikes - DeQuad is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sasaki tries to bum rush Nayama with a series of wild strikes but Nayama uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nayama closes the distance and clinches up with Sasaki, looking for a takedown. Nayama pushes Sasaki against the cage but Sasaki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nayama closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Sasaki is looking for a sweep. Nayama is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Nayama is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sasaki defends it well. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boombata throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lim was covering up waiting for the punch and Boombata finishes the takedown easily into guard. Lim wants to improve his position but instead Boombata has moved into half guard.
Lim preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Lim should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Lim trying to control here.
Boombata will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Boombata in particular looking to stall.

Lim is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Lim is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Boombata off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Good control from Boombata. Lim feints and as Boombata raises his hands in defense, Lim changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Lim trying to stand up but can't free himself from Boombata's guard. Boombata is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boombata pushes Lim off and gets back to his feet.
Boombata misses with a takedown attempt and Lim counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Boombata! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boombata is trying desperately to improve position. Boombata sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Boombata kicks Lim off and gets back to his feet. Lim with a poor takedown and Boombata counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lim can do anything to dispel that myth.

Boombata controls the position. Lim is trying to improve his position. Lim is trying to escape the position but Boombata is controlling the position.

Lim wants to clinch but Boombata slips to the side and Boombata counters with a shoot takedown. Lim fights it but they end up in guard. Lim wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Boombata is now in half guard. Lim is trying to control but Boombata manages to pass to mount!
Lim tries to control Boombata's body but Boombata pushes him off. Lim squirms to his side and now Boombata has his back! Lim trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boombata is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Lim is trying to get back to his feet but Boombata has full control of the position and if anything, Lim has just worked his way into a worse spot. Boombata avoiding Lim 's attempts to control his hands. Boombata has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Boombata lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Mufasa Boombata is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lim controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. What can Lim do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Mufasa Boombata overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Boombata seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lim for as long as he can get away with. I really don't envy Lim right now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Boombata has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Lim's body.
Boombata's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Lim trying to control the action but Boombata just sinks the hooks in. Tonton Lim has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boombata keeps control of the position easily here as Lim tries to buck him off.
And that's the end of the fight! Mufasa Boombata showed his dominance in that final round. Well Boombata has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saint scores with a jab. Udarnik wants to clinch. Saint lands a big right hand that sends Udarnik crashing to the mat! Saint stays standing though and waves Udarnik back to his feet! Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Udarnik tries to clinch up. Udarnik tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Saint paws at him with a jab and circles away. A jab from Saint finds it's way through Udarnik's defenses. Udarnik is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saint lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Udarnik throws a leg kick that misses. Udarnik misses with a few strikes there.
Udarnik shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Saint as he jumps to the side. Udarnik throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Saint. Saint lands a hook that stumbles Udarnik back into the cage. Saint follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Udarnik to the canvas! Saint pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Udarnik has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Diaz tries to advance to mount but Bless denies him. Bless is trying to get back to half guard. Diaz thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
