Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

John drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and John jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cruz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but John moves away.
John moves forwards but Cruz connects with a nice, crisp jab.

As Lewis backs off Dahman throws a huge counter combo but Lewis manages to avoid it all.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Nakamura.
Snow is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Snow definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Snow taking punishment in the form of punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snow is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Nakamura asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Turngemaxt tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Liang connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Turngemaxt fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Liang, pushing him back against the cage.
Liang lands a left hand.
Turngemaxt looking for a takedown.
Turngemaxt throws an elbow that misses.
Liang is pressed up against the cage. Turngemaxt has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Liang down to the mat. Liang avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
We've been told by Liang's head coaches at Makweingdo Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Turngemaxt tries to clinch
and Liang scores with a counter punch that sends Turngemaxt to the canvas! Liang smells blood - he's punishing Turngemaxt with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Turngemaxt has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yu Liang!
Yu Liang seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
