And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Omari Moody!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moody tries to score with a low kick but Michaels moves his leg out of the way.
Michaels avoids the body shot from Moody.
Moody scores with a punch to the head.
Jordan Michaels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Michaels throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Moody misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Michaels.
Michaels wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Michaels takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Michaels tries to close the distance and clinch but Moody swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Michaels tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Moody connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Michaels momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moody avoids a kick to the body.

Michaels doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Moody drops Michaels with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Michaels looks back up at him and smiles so Moody waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
 Michaels is rocked!
 It looks like Jordan Michaels has been cut.
Michaels shoots in and drives through. Moody sprawls well.
Moody throws out a counter right but Michaels avoids it with no problem.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jordan Michaels. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Moody comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Michaels is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Moody drops Michaels with a straight right hand, right on the button! Moody follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
