The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross moves out of range of the leg kick from Ruane.
Ross throws a good cross that connects.
Ross throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ruane.
Ruane looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Ross lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Ross bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ruane's head.

Ruane closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Ross pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Ruane was done - good stoppage!

Rey Ross opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
