Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Midweight Try! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chick Hamland! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Try lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Try gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hamland lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hamland postures up and lands a big shot to Try's brow. Hamland is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hamland postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hamland content to stall in guard here. Hamland looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hamland landing with the ground and pound. Hamland is in close to Try's body, working some short punches and elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hamland advances position into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hamland scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Try to see if he's OK. Hamland slows the pace down. Try is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hamland moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Try is trying to control Hamland's posture but Hamland avoids it. Try seems a little lost for a moment, as Hamland dominates the positioning. Hamland advances to full mount. A nice elbow there by Hamland. Hamland with good strikes from the mount here! Try is in a horrible position here. Hamland smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinkead throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Invasion's waist but Invasion gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kinkead off to one side. Kinkead ducks under a wild hook from Invasion. Invasion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kinkead's guard. Invasion lands a couple of decent looking shots. Invasion must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kinkead managing to control the position. Invasion landing some decent shots from guard. Invasion wants to control from the top but Kinkead keeps moving. Kinkead escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Invasion gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kinkead wants to sweep but no luck. Invasion postures up and lands a big shot to Kinkead's brow. Kinkead has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Invasion distracts Kinkead with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Invasion working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kinkead's head. Invasion chips away with some ground and pound. Kinkead wants to get back to his feet but Invasion is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Invasion stands up over Kinkead, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Kinkead is trying to control the position but Invasion postures up. Invasion is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Invasion throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kinkead has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Invasion can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Invasion scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Invasion accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kinkead throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Invasion working some strikes from top position. Invasion missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Invasion cracks Kinkead with a solid left hand. Invasion postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Kinkead wants to sweep here but Invasion controlling him for the moment. Invasion trying to control but Kinkead is working from the bottom. Invasion distracts Kinkead with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kinkead looking to hit a scissor sweep but Invasion is one step ahead there. Invasion scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Invasion is in close to Kinkead's body, working some short punches and elbows. Invasion works over Kinkead with some ground and pound from guard. Invasion is working Kinkead over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Kinkead is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Invasion landing with the ground and pound. Invasion chips away with some ground and pound. Kinkead is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Invasion defends well. Invasion postures up.
Kinkead has Invasion pulled in close to control his posture. Invasion makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Alien Invasion dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Invasion scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Invasion lands a nice forearm strike. Invasion looks up at the clock and then as Kinkead takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Invasion smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Kinkead regains half guard. Invasion working Kinkead over with strikes. Invasion winds up and cracks Kinkead with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Invasion has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kinkead looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Alien Invasion has got the better of the ground game so far. Invasion lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Kinkead is trying to control but can't.
Invasion is looking to take a break and control but Kinkead is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Invasion is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Invasion winds up and cracks Kinkead with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kinkead actively working from the bottom here. Invasion looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kinkead with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Invasion working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Underwood tries to close the distance and clinch but Loco swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Underwood tries to close the distance and clinch up but Loco swats him away and circles back towards the center. Loco looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Underwood rushes Loco and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Underwood tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Underwood throws a head punch that misses. Underwood misses with a hook to the ribs.
Loco takes a shot to the head. Underwood pushes Loco back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Loco lands a right hand. Underwood lands a left hand.
Underwood prevents a body shot from Loco. Loco scores with a hook to the body. Loco tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Loco can't find room to land a body shot as Underwood controls the action.
Loco tries to work over Underwood's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Underwood misses with some punches.
Loco blocks an uppercut.
Loco breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice body punch from Loco. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Loco. Loco fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Underwood looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Underwood has Loco up against the cage in a clinch.
Loco stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Loco looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Underwood is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Underwood lands a right hand that snaps the head of Loco backwards. Loco softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Loco lands a hook that snaps the head of Underwood backwards. Underwood tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Loco lands with a short head shot on the inside. Underwood is rocked! Loco lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Oh Underwood is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Loco creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Underwood with a big uppercut! Underwood tries to clinch up but Loco pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Underwood to the mat! Underwood covers up and Loco unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Xicko Loco! A less than humble Xicko Loco misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Odogwu is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Zoric displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Odogwu. Odogwu throws a lazy uppercut
and Odogwu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Zoric feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Odogwu sprawling to the canvas! Odogwu rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Zoric finish him?!
It looks like Ekon Odogwu has been cut. Ekon Odogwu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zoric cracks Odogwu on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Odogwu falls backwards against the cage. Zoric follows up with more strikes that drop Odogwu to his knees. Zoric keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Odogwu! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Danilo Zoric! During a confident post fight interview, Danilo Zoric thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McSorley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Patter scores with a jab to the head.

McSorley wants to clinch up but Patter keeps it at a distance. Patter jabs at McSorley's body. Patter throws a right and a left that McSorley avoids nicely. McSorley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. McSorley quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. McSorley defending well as Patter loads up on a big left hand. Patter misses with an uppercut. McSorley saw that one coming. McSorley half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. McSorley looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A jab lands there for Patter. Patter looks to throw the jab but McSorley is out of range. McSorley has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McSorley there as he acknowledges the shot. McSorley is rocked! Patter measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes McSorley! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

Spears has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad The Island in the buildup to the fight. Spears misses with an uppercut. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Walton! But no joy. Walton keeps the fight on the outside. Walton avoids the body shot from Spears.
Despite the aggression on Walton's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spears pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Spears tries to clinch there but Walton circles away.

De Lima throws a lazy head kick and Potter counters with a nice uppercut. De Lima throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Potter. De Lima is breathing heavily. Nice cross by Potter. Potter lands with a nice body punch. Potter fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ortiz in his tracks. Ortiz misses with a straight right. Ortiz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jackson. Jackson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ortiz throws a shot from downtown. Jackson moves away and avoids it. Ortiz comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ortiz walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jackson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Ortiz cracks Jackson with an open hand slap. Ortiz slips under a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ortiz looks for a takedown but Jackson sprawls well. Ortiz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Jackson throws out a powerful jab. Jackson tries to bum rush Ortiz with a series of wild strikes but Ortiz uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A countering left hand to the body from Ortiz misses. Jackson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jackson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Jackson defending well as Ortiz loads up on a big left hand. Jackson slips under a jab from Ortiz. Ortiz swings widly with a right hand
letting Jackson counter with a right hand. Ortiz throws the left hand but Jackson avoids the punch easily. Ortiz cracks Jackson with a good jab. Jackson is rocked!

The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Jackson is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guttenburg misses with a left hand and McCoy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. It looks like Gottfried Guttenburg has been cut. McCoy avoids a punch combination nicely.

McCoy feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Guttenburg crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
