The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dana chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wan can pounce on him.
Dana misses with an uppercut. Wan saw that one coming.
Wan cracks Dana with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Dana throws a lazy uppercut
and Wan counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dana. Wan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Wan closes the distance and lands a one-two.

and Rivera counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mate won't be happy with that.
Mate bucks up and tries to throw Rivera off but instead Rivera has got his back!
Mate looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Rivera is hanging on to Mate's back as he tries to escape.
Mate is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Rivera has good solid back control here.
It looks like Rivera might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
