Bazant uses his free foot to push down on Ragno's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ragno.

With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Junior Calderon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calderon fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Junior Calderon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haley walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
It looks like Lukas Haley has been cut.

Haley shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Calderon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Calderon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Haley with a flurry of punches that miss.

Haley drops back, looking for a kneebar! Calderon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Calderon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Calderon!

Calderon cracks Haley with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Calderon misses the jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Calderon, as that shot connected.

Oh Haley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Calderon gets through Haley's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Calderon makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A right hook to the body lands for Calderon.
Come on Calderon - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Calderon lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Calderon lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Haley to his knees! Calderon keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
