Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Ridley (ranked 458 p4p, 616 weight class) and Marc Schlager (ranked 60 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Luke Ridley has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Luke Ridley seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Schlager has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ridley finds it's way round the side to connect with Schlager's head.

Ridley seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Schlager darts in and clinches Ridley up against the cage.

Schlager working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ridley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ridley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Schlager has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ridley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Ridley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Schlager escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ridley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Schlager is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ridley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
