Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daosen Li (ranked 5050 p4p, 3824 weight class) and Sava Grujic (ranked 355 p4p, 307 weight class). Grujic is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Oj Alija, aljo (Hey, Alija Aljo!). Daosen Li had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 147.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Daosen Li looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Sven won't allow Submarine to get back to his feet. Sven showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sven pushes down on Submarine's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sven works his foot free and advances to mount. Submarine tries to lock up and control but Sven gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sven takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Let's hope that Sven has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Submarine is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Sven locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Submarine is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). God Sven!
