The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Paul ducks under a wild hook from Pearson.
Pearson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Paul is able to avoid easily.

Pearson moves into the clinch.

Pearson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pearson connects with a nice short shot to Paul's temple.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pearson in particular looking to stall.
Pearson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Paul for as long as he can get away with.
Pearson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Pearson is nestled in close to Paul, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Pearson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Paul told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Santos looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Sorkin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Santos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sorkin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sorkin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Santos's face as Sorkin controls the position.

Sorkin is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Santos is trying to escape and Sorkin transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Santos is forced to tap! Nice work there by Sorkin! Very nice indeed!

Moon has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Bishop is on him like a limpet, forcing Moon back against the cage.
Bishop is trying to drag Moon to the mat but Moon just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Moon tries to circle away but Bishop has him pinned against the cage.
Moon lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Moon makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Wolfric Moon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bishop ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Law jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Szobo walks away with a smile on his face. Law gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Szobo tries to clinch up but Law circles away and keeps his distance.

Law manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Szobo on his heels. He'll look to pass Szobo's guard now, I'm sure.

Szobo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Law paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Law throws a big counter combination but Szobo scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Szobo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Szobo cracks Law with a right hand to the side of the head.

Law feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jones tries to bum rush Okami with a series of wild strikes but Okami uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Franklin dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving John stiff and motionless on the mat!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
