The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boss shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Boss was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Boss remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Noded is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Boss asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Boss in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
A lull in the action here as Boss stalls from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boss throws a strike aimed at the side of Noded's head but Noded avoids it well.

Boss in side control, just content to control the action for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boss is working to tighten his grip on Noded's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Noded has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Boss is really squeezing tight and eventually Noded passes out! Boss breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Turd looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Colett is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Colett stuffs the takedown.
An attempted straight right counter from Colett misses the target.
Turd will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A quick step to the side and Colett tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Turd might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Colett haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Santos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Time's waist but Time gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Santos off to one side.

Time clinches up with Santos and pushes him back against the cage.

Maxwell's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Arnold is holding on here and Maxwell must be using up a lot of energy. Arnold has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Maxwell gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
