And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 136 wins and 101 losses; Tyrone Sparxx! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Sparxx tries for a takedown but Ramirez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ramirez shoots in looking for a takedown. Sparxx tries to sprawl out of it but Ramirez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sparxx manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sparxx changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Ramirez has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Sparxx shoots in for a takedown.
