The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Heinicke gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Heinicke stalling against the cage.
Pati's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pati is stalling here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heinicke is pushing Pati up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Pati stalling the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Heinicke takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. The referee is keeping an eye on Heinicke - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pati stalling in the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Kurt Heinicke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Heinicke has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
