The fight stays on the outside here - Futre looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silva jumps guard but Futre stands there with Silva around his waist. Silva gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

I was talking to Silva's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
It looks like Futre might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Futre tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Silva cranks the arm and Futre screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Futre, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Everett tries to score a power double leg takedown but Smoke sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Everett somewhat.
As Everett looks to move away, Smoke throws a big counter combo but Everett just gets out of the way.
