These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sig Freud! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerimiah Nova! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nova shoots in for a takedown but Freud shows good takedown defense. Freud looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Freud keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nova has his takedown stuffed and Freud cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Sig Freud has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerimiah Nova. Freud stuffs the takedown attempt from Nova. Nova gets slowly back to his feet. Freud misses with a hook. Nova ducked under it nicely. Nova dives in for a single leg takedown but Freud sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Nova closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Freud is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nova's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nova's back! Nova is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Freud punches Nova on the ear. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Will Freud go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Freud is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nova can do to turn this around? Freud is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Freud wants to control but Nova is keeping him busy. Freud is looking for a kimura here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivera leaves Lauzon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Rivera scores with a head kick. Lauzon tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. An inside leg kick lands from Rivera. Lauzon shoots in but Rivera avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rivera stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rivera wants it to stay on the feet. Kamren Rivera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Lauzon. Lauzon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rivera defends it nicely. Rivera pulls out of a head kick attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lauzon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rivera is fending him off so far but Lauzon persists. Nope, Rivera circles away and we're back to standing. Lauzon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Rivera to counter with a crisp jab. Lauzon takes a shot right to the bread basket. Lauzon shoots in and drives through. Rivera sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lauzon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Lauzon looks winded! Rivera lands a big head kick that sends Lauzon tumbling to the mat! Rivera takes a step backwards and waves Lauzon back to his feet - he wants the finish! Lauzon is rocked! It looks like Ben Lauzon has been cut. Rivera connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Lauzon covering up! Rivera comes in with a big uppercut and Lauzon goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Walker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Walker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wan. Wan misses with a few strikes there.

and Wan counters with a series of strikes. Walker will be more careful next time no doubt. Wan lands with a kick to the ribs.
Wan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Walker lands a head kick!
Wan misses with a low kick. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Walker! But no joy. A nice leg kick from Wan, right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Walker lands with a right hand. Walker throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Wan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nice defenses there by Wan. A swing and a miss from Walker. Wan is looking to counter punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Good shot there by Wan. Wan misses with a double jab.
Walker misses with a hook. Walker misses with an uppercut. Walker might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Walker thows a left - swing and a miss! A slow jab from Walker misses its intended target. Wan swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Wan thuds his right hand into Walker's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Walker misses with a straight right. Wan looks to land a combination but Walker avoids it well. Walker looks like he wants to counter punch here. Wan missing with a left hand there. Walker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Wan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Walker was well out of range. Poor timing from Wan. Wan slips under a jab. Wan swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

and Wan counters with a three punch combo that has Walker backing up. Walker nods at Wan to acknowledge the strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Walker jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Wan misses with a wild body shot. Wan throws a low kick but it's checked well by Walker. Walker misses with a hook. Wan ducked under it nicely. A counter left hand to the body from Wan misses its target. Wan with a body punch. A glancing blow. Walker misses with a shot to the body and Wan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Walker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Walker throws out a counter right but Wan avoids it with no problem. Wan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Walker throws out the jab. Wan appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. The fighters circle, before Walker throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Wan's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Walker lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asakura is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Huynh. Huynh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Asakura sees it coming and avoids it easily. Huynh loads up on a big right hand but Asakura slips the punch. Asakura swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Asakura throws a body shot but no joy. Huynh cracks a nice hook into Asakura's ribs. Huynh misses with a looping right. Asakura sizes up Huynh with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Mikuru Asakura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Asakura lands with a nice body kick. Asakura has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rising Sun Training in the buildup to the fight. A jab from Huynh finds it's way through Asakura's defenses. Asakura missing with a left hand there. Huynh was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Asakura lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Asakura misses with a jab, cross combination.

Huynh throws a lazy right hand but Asakura sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Asakura looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Huynh ducks under a wild hook from Asakura. Asakura misses with an uppercut
and Huynh counters with a straight right hand. Asakura is rocked! Huynh swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Asakura makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Huynh really felt that one! Oh Asakura is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Huynh rushes Asakura with punches - Asakura moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Asakura goes down! Huynh follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Halo Halo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kruce Kanner! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kanner connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kanner throws a right and a left that Halo avoids nicely. Kanner throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Halo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kanner's coach down at Gym To Nica was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kanner's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Halo fails with the takedown. Halo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kanner lands a glancing blow to the side of Halo's head. Halo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kanner manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Halo preventing the sweep. Halo tries to free his leg and advance position but Kanner is retaining full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Halo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kanner manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Halo manages to get himself to full guard.
Halo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kanner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kanner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Halo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Halo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Halo trying to control the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kanner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kanner with a flurry of punches that miss. Kanner with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kanner in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kanner missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Halo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kanner postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Halo has his feet on Kanner's thighs here. He's pushed Kanner off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kanner screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
