Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Moses Grant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cole Asher! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asher gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Grant. Grant connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Asher's hands. Grant with a hook. Asher on the wrong end of a nice jab. Asher is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jab by Grant. Donk. Grant catches Asher right on the button with a cross. Grant scores with a one two! Asher had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Grant works over Asher's head and body with a nice combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Grant scores with a nice right hand.

A punch combination from Grant misses. Moses Grant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Grant throws a jab but it's blocked by Asher. Grant getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good shot there by Grant. Grant with a hook. Asher has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Asher there as he acknowledges the shot. Grant lands a nice hook to Asher's body. Asher takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Grant scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Grant darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Grant's corner calls for a 1-2. Grant obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. The crowd cheers as Grant lands an impressive looking overhand right. Asher doesn't seem phased though. Grant seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Grant throws a good cross that connects.

and Asher counters with a nice double leg into side control. Grant won't be happy with that. Asher has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Xtreme Fighting Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. This has been an exciting period of action! Grant is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Asher working the ground and pound but Grant is defending the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Asher tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Asher tries for a kimura but Grant is defending well. Asher throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Asher is chipping away with strikes.
It looks like Moses Grant has been cut. Asher working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Asher has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Asher is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Grant knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Asher working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Bravo! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weaver goes for a double leg but Bravo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bravo continues to drive forward. Bravo tries to circle away but Weaver has him pinned against the cage. Bravo tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Bravo blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Bravo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Weaver gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Bravo is looking for a takedown. A head punch blocked on the inside by Bravo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weaver swings wildly with an uppercut but Bravo uses good head movement to avoid it. Bravo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Weaver has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. A head punch on the inside from Weaver fails to land.

I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Weaver is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bravo can do to turn this around? Bravo seems to have recovered his senses. Weaver seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bravo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bravo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Weaver. Weaver throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bravo looking for a kimura from the bottom but Weaver passes into side control! Bravo is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Weaver is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

A big strike lands for Weaver! That's really hurt Bravo and he's turned his back - Weaver keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Weaver jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Love drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wu is not content to let Love control the position. Love working away. Wu tries to bench press Love off him but Love keeps the position. Wu can't do much from the bottom here. Wu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wu tries to get out of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Love tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Wu tries to improve position but can't. Wu is trying to control Love's posture but Love avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Love wants to control but Wu is keeping him busy.
