Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Dallas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mendez Papillion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dallas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ace of Spades. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Mendez Papillion enters the cage!

5 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Dallas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mendez Papillion! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking cross lands there for Papillion. Papillion closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Papillion lands in his opponent's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Papillion slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Dallas. Papillion drops an elbow to the side of Dallas's head. Papillion keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Dallas flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Papillion lands a nice short elbow. Papillion controlling the action here. Papillion lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Papillion moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Dallas.

Papillion with the ground and pound from mount. Papillion sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Dallas gets back to half guard. Papillion stalling. Dallas wants to get back to full guard but Papillion has passed into side control. Papillion lands a big elbow. Papillion controlling from the full mount. I looks like Papillion might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Papillion is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dallas to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dallas shrugs it off. Papillion with shots to the head and body - Dallas looks very uncomfortable down there. Papillion looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
You get the feeling that Dallas really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Dallas is breathing heavily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dallas takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Papillion lands a jab to the nose. Papillion throws a left that rocks Dallas and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Papillion dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Dallas regain composure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nitro lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Nitro wants to clinch. Time misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nitro.
Time is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nitro. Time on the wrong end of a nice jab. Time keeps the fight on the outside. Nitro scores with a jab to the body. Nitro slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Time has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Time there as he acknowledges the shot. Time moves into the clinch successfully.

Nitro trying to keep a closed guard but Time is proving a slippery customer.

Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Time trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Time throwing strikes but missing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Time throws a right and a left that both miss. Time throws a right and a left that Nitro avoids nicely. Nitro moves into the clinch. Time has Nitro pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Time pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Nitro tumbling to the mat - Time dives into Nitro's guard. Time looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Terrance Time dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nitro scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Nitro is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Time works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Nitro lands a jab. Max Nitro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nitro walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. A jab lands there for Nitro. Nitro is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Time looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Nitro! Time wants to finish this one by submission but Nitro is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Time. Nitro tries to reverse the position but Time maintains control. Time landing strikes from the mount. Time avoids the attempt from Nitro to control.

Nitro is rocked! Time is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Nitro can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Oh Nitro is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Time drops a big elbow. That's hurt Nitro! More shots from Time and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keys moves away from the strike by Keenan. Keys chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Keenan can pounce on him.
Keys bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Keys trying to control the position but Keenan is working away. Keenan gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Keenan bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Keenan in particular looking to stall. Joshua Keys has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Keenan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Keys for as long as he can get away with. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Keenan here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Keys is looking to control Keenan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Keys avoid being mounted?

Keenan has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Keys's body.
