The fight stays on the outside here - Asakura looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hamilton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Asakura moves away.
Hamilton slips a jab and a cross from Asakura.
A slow jab from Hamilton misses its intended target.
Asakura tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hamilton swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Asakura is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Parke enables Snoozeman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Parke manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Parke looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Snoozeman lands a couple of elbows.

Parke is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jufre defending well as Heredia loads up on a big left hand.
Heredia throws a body punch but Jufre moves out of range.
Heredia throws a lazy right hand but Jufre sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jufre is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Heredia with a body shot.
Jufre takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A big right from Heredia misses.
Jufre throws a right and a left that both miss.
Heredia misses with an uppercut. Jufre saw that one coming.

Heredia sends Jufre crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Heredia is motioning to the referee to let Jufre up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Valentino Jufre has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jufre walks straight into a right hand from Heredia - that's dropped him! Heredia jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Jufre from any more punishment! Jufre complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Roberto Heredia!
In his post fight interview, Roberto Heredia gave a big smile as he said 'Bueno pues ya emos ganao, aora viene lo bueno, BOOM. Fiesta, asta el domingo! BOOM Y voi a cojer un par de requetonas, y las voi a partir las bragas. BOOM'.
