The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hitter defends well and Kelly ends up having to push Hitter into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Kelly misses with a takedown attempt - Hitter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hitter throws a big counter combination but Kelly scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Hitter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kelly shoots in but Hitter avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hard Hitter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Kelly.
