Watson has left one of his arms exposed and Everett doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Watson screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Mcneil.
It looks like Edgar Kidd has been cut.
Mcneil drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kidd definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kidd keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mcneil.
Mcneil stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Mcneil thuds his right hand into Kidd's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mcneil lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kidd is rocked!
Mcneil fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Kidd square on the jaw! Damn, Kidd is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Jack throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Brooks on the side of the head.
Jack uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Jack fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brooks looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jack catches Brooks with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

As Jack tries to get set, Brooks tries to push him back and clinch up but Jack manages to avoid the attempt.

Jack punishes Brooks's body with a nice straight punch.
A telegraphed right hand from Jack misses the target.
Jack lands an overhand right.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jack uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Brooks has time to react.
Brooks is rocked!
Brooks dodges the punch combination from Jack.
Brooks swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Oh Brooks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jack drops Brooks with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Brooks! Jack dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
