Mckee looks to land a combination but Kat avoids it well.
Mckee misses with a two punch combination.
Kat avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kat throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mckee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kat takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Mckee throws a right and a left that Kat avoids nicely.
Kat shoots for a double leg takedown but Mckee sprawls well. He's pushed Kat's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tavernelli is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Perkasa will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Koskinen thuds a left hand into Rojas's body.
Rojas throws a body shot but no joy.
Koskinen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rojas misses with an uppercut.
Koskinen misses with a telegraphed body shot
enabling Rojas to counter with a crisp jab.
Koskinen tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rojas looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rojas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Koskinen manages to avoid it.
Koskinen misses the shot to the body.
Esa Koskinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rojas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Koskinen was well out of range. Poor timing from Rojas.

Koskinen cracks Rojas with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Rojas looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away can Koskinen finish him?
It looks like Derrick Rojas has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kingston slaps away a takedown attempt from Boss, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kingston stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kingston wants it to stay on the feet.
A clash of legs there as Boss blocks the low kick.
Boss with a lazy takedown attempt
and Kingston counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Final Boss has been cut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Final Boss. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boss displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kingston throws out the jab.
Kingston scores with a nice body kick.
Kingston feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Boss crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Sawyer connects with a crisp jab.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sawyer, as that shot connected.
Sawyer takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Sawyer gets caught flat footed, as Hearse shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Sawyer is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Hearse presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hearse has clasped his hands together around Sawyer's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Sawyer is not content to let Hearse control the position.

Sawyer explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Sawyer connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hearse. Hearse circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A shot to the liver by Sawyer. Beautiful body shot.
Sawyer works Hearse's body with a nice hook.
Sawyer wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sawyer tests Hearse's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sawyer has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Sawyer scores with a jab. Hearse acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Marvin Hearse has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice uppercut there from Sawyer.

Sawyer lands a big uppercut and Hearse crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hearse looks OK. Sawyer waves Hearse back to his feet!
Hearse is rocked!
Sawyer is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hearse had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Sawyer engages and cracks Hearse with a massive lead left hook - Hearse tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Sawyer is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
