Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roland Verse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Happy Gilmore! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gilmore swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A shot to the body from Gilmore misses and Verse counters with a three punch combo that has Gilmore backing up. Gilmore nods at Verse to acknowledge the strikes. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gilmore has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Verse throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Gilmore misses with a looping right. Verse was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Verse sizes up Gilmore with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Gilmore misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Verse.
Verse throws a leg kick but Gilmore checks it.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Verse enables Gilmore to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Verse manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Verse has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Gilmore has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Verse is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Gilmore has Verse pressed against the cage, preventing Verse from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Verse looks to throw an elbow but misses. Verse is trying to push Gilmore away but Gilmore has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Verse gets underhooks to prevent Gilmore's takedown attempt.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Verse wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Gilmore is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Verse is trying to break the clinch but Gilmore is controlling him. Verse is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Gilmore avoids a wild elbow strike from Verse.
Gilmore's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gilmore lands with a right hand. Gilmore misses with an uppercut. Verse saw that one coming. Gilmore throws a jab but it's blocked by Verse. Some bone on bone action there as Gilmore checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Gilmore misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Roland Verse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Happy Gilmore.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Verse waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gilmore. Gilmore digs a good body shot into Verse's ribs. Gilmore throws a shot from downtown. Verse moves away and avoids it. Gilmore shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Verse sprawls well. Verse wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gilmore gets slowly back to his feet. A solid leg kick lands there for Verse.
Gilmore misses with a right hand and Verse counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Verse doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Verse misses with a wild body shot. Gilmore swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gilmore darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Gilmore slips a nice elbow through Verse's hands, connecting with Verse's forehead.
Verse is rocked! Ground and pound from Gilmore. Oh Verse is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gilmore is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Verse is hurt! He's hurt bad - Gilmore fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Verse from any more punishment! Congratulations to Gilmore! Great finish!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Davis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Davis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Canvana clinches. Davis using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Canvana has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Davis swings wildly with an uppercut but Canvana uses good head movement to avoid it.
Davis manages to break the clinch.

Davis lands a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis effectively controlling the action here.
Davis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Canvana throws a hook but Davis blocks it. Canvana lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Davis works on Canvana's body with a couple of short punches. Davis lands a right hand that snaps the head of Canvana backwards. Davis gets through Canvana's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Canvana told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Davis lands a right hand. Davis throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Canvanas head. Davis tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Davis throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Canvana blocks it with crossed arms. Canvana taking a breather. Davis cracks Canvana with a nice body shot. Canvana is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. A short uppercut from Davis. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Davis creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Still in the clinch, Davis scores with a nice short uppercut. Canvana tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Davis lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Davis manages to break the clinch.
Davis looks to land a combination but Canvana avoids it well. Canvana feints the counter takedown. Davis looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Canvana takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Donk. Davis catches Canvana right on the button with a cross. Canvana on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Davis cracks Canvana with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Canvana fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Davis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Davis works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Davis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Davis lands a nice looking body shot.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Canvana looks for the body kick but Davis saw that one coming. Canvana takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Canvana tries to clinch and Davis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Canvana looks winded! A punch combination from Davis misses. Davis lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Some wild striking there from Canvana.
Davis rushes Canvana and presses him up against the cage. Davis lands a body shot in the clinch.
Davis unloads a knee to the mid-section. Canvana lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Knees in the clinch landing for Davis.
Davis scores with an uppercut up the middle. Davis working some nice short punches in the clinch.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Davis lands a right hand. A nice left hand lands by Davis.
Davis lands a body shot. Davis lands a body shot. A short right from Davis. Davis lands with a light punch inside. Davis working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Canvana is rocked!
Davis manages to break the clinch.
Davis gets a clinch. A short uppercut from Davis. Canvana is still on wobbly legs! Can Davis finish him? Davis is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Davis cracks Canvana with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Canvana falls to his knees and Davis doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jefferson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Yoshida's hands. Yoshida throws a right hand that Jefferson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jefferson also avoids with ease. Yoshida definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Yoshida cracks Jefferson with an open hand slap.
Jefferson lands a big head kick that sends Yoshida tumbling to the mat! Jefferson takes a step backwards and waves Yoshida back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Yuto Yoshida has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Yoshida tries to get into range but Jefferson steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Yoshida! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Jefferson scores the big KO victory!

A very excited looking Jeff Jefferson made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Jung Bin turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Haley takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Haley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jung Bin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jung Bin looks up at the clock and then as Haley takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jung Bin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ford misses with a hook. Adaev ducked under it nicely. We've been hearing reports that Ford has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Kareem Ford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ford tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Adaev was well out of range. Poor timing from Ford. Kacie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cool defends it nicely. Helo Kacie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kacie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cool's waist but Cool gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kacie off to one side. Cool lands a really nice looking cross but Kacie seems unphased.

Oooooh!!! Cool has knocked Kacie down with a huge combo! Cool steps away and waves a wobbly Kacie back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Blanchard feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mercados jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Blanchard misses with a shot to the body and Mercado counters with a big left hand that crumples Blanchard! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

Kon lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Kon lands on the inside with an uppercut. Kon lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gomez backwards.
Kon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kon feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gomez sprawling to the canvas! Gomez rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kon finish him?!

It looks like Joel Gomez has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kon throws a monster overhand right that drops Gomez! Kon follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kin Kon! Kin Kon bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
