And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 120 wins and 80 losses; Kurt Diesel! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.#CL# Diesel tries to keep at a distance but Mormaer has taken the fight into the clinch. Mormaer looking for a takedown. Diesel is looking to take this one to the mat. Mormaer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Mormaer drops down looking for an ankle pick but Diesel pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aonghus Mormaer. That's going to take a lot out of him.#CL# Mormaer closes the distance and pushes Diesel back into the cage.
