The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Capot was well out of range. Poor timing from Taker.

and Taker counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Taker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Capot does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Taker throws a strike but Capot avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Taker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
