Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joel Franklin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douglas Clark! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franklin takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Joel Franklin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice shot by Clark. It looks like Joel Franklin has been cut. Franklin misses with a left hand and Clark counters with a stiff right hand. Clark's jab looks to have found its range, popping Franklin under the eye. Nice body punch from Clark. Franklin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Clark taking some punishment here, with Franklin in his half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Clark is holding on to half guard well. Franklin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Clark's head. Clark is doing well to control the position and prevent Franklin from advancing to side control. Franklin scoring with strikes to the body and head. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dante Mercado! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Mercado. Rivers is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The referee asks Mercado politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mercado prefers to stall for the moment though. Rivers can't do much from the bottom here. Mercado throws an elbow but Rivers slips to the side and avoids it well. Rivers tries to bench press Mercado off him but Mercado keeps the position. Mercado is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Rivers will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinnaman throws a nice looking combination but Rog bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rog shoots in but no luck this time. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kinnaman is defended easily by Rog. Kinnaman keeps the fight on the outside. Rog gets caught napping as Kinnaman dives in and scores a takedown. Rog manages to retain guard. Rog uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Dos Santos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lemon defends it nicely. Lemon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dos Santos's head backwards. Lemon feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dos Santos sprawling to the canvas! Dos Santos rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lemon finish him?!
Dos Santos is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lemon has Dos Santos up against the cage in a clinch.

The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Heinonen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Heinonen!

Heinonen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Huerta to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Heinonen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Huerta pulls down on the head and he's put Heinonen to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jesus Huerta! A very excited looking Jesus Huerta rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
