These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kanetake Makio! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chai steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Makio. That one must have hurt. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Makio has eaten all the pies! Chai blocks a head kick by Makio.
Chai is looking for a counter combo. Makio misses with a wild body shot. Chai thinks about countering with a body kick.
Makio gets tackled into the ropes by Chai. Chai maintains the clinch. Makio misses with a short punch on the inside. Chai slows down the pace here.
Makio wants to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Chai takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Chai throws a leg kick which misses Makio's front leg but catches the back leg as Makio tries to avoid it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Julia Alves Chai will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Makio takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Chai throws a quick inside leg kick. Makio wants to clinch. Makio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Makio's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Chai lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A punch combination from Makio misses. As Makio backs away, Chai returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Chai is looking to chop away at Makio's legs. Makio throws a series of punches but Chai avoids them all with ease. Suzuki thuds a left hand into Okubo's body. Okubo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Suzuki. Suzuki wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

A lazy left from Suzuki finds it's target. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Suzuki lands with a nice body kick. Okubo looks winded!

Suzuki smells blood and charges in for the finish! Suzuki unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Okubo sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seon tries to clinch up and Tsuruta counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Nice body punch from Tsuruta. Seon closes the distance but Tsuruta moves to the side and Tsuruta counters with a lovely straight right hand! Seon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Tsuruta lands with a nice body punch. Seon takes a shot to the body in his stride.

and Tsuruta counters with a stiff right hand. Tsuruta has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Seon is landing a low percentage of strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Seon misses with a leg kick and Tsuruta counters with a straight right hand.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Seon closes the distance looking to clinch and Tsuruta counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Tsuruta scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Tsuruta has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Seon misses with a double jab
and Tsuruta counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Woo Jin Seon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Tsuruta!
Tsuruta lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Seon is rocked! Seon tries to get into range but Tsuruta steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Seon! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Tsuruta scores the big KO victory!

It looked like Artusii was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Artusii goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
