Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacky Brute (ranked 4946 p4p, 2733 weight class) and Ali Rakhivokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacky Brute! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ali Rakhivokov! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rakhivokov has managed to clinch.
Rakhivokov lands a takedown into guard.
Brute throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Rakhivokov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Brute has an active guard here but Rakhivokov has managed to pass into half guard.
Brute is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rakhivokov performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Let's hope that Rakhivokov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rakhivokov decides to return to a standing position. Rakhivokov looking to score a takedown here. Brute is defending well but Rakhivokov drives through and ends up in Brute's guard. Brute trying to keep a closed guard but Rakhivokov is proving a slippery customer.
Brute on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brute tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brute looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rakhivokov is one step ahead there. Rakhivokov gets to his feet - Brute follows without any prompting. Brute gets caught napping as Rakhivokov dives in and scores a takedown. Brute manages to retain guard. Brute is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Brute looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rakhivokov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brute is looking for a triangle but Rakhivokov pushes his legs off easily.
Rakhivokov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Rakhivokov. Brute looking to control.
Brute is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rakhivokov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Brute looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Rakhivokov gets a double leg takedown into Brute's guard.

Rakhivokov working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Brute's head. Rakhivokov distracts Brute with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Brute not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rakhivokov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rakhivokov postures up and lands a big shot to Brute's brow. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ali Rakhivokov dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rakhivokov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Brute did well to prevent Rakhivokov getting side control. Rakhivokov is working for a kimura but Brute is defending it quite comfortably.
Brute is looking to escape. Brute knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rakhivokov on the ground. Brute wants to improve his position but Rakhivokov is controlling well.
Rakhivokov moves nicely into side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brute is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brute is trying to escape the position but Rakhivokov is controlling the position. Rakhivokov is continuing to stall. Brute struggling a bit here. Rakhivokov is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Brute's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brute is trying to get back to half guard. Rakhivokov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rakhivokov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Rakhivokov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brute is trying to control Rakhivokov's posture but Rakhivokov avoids it. Brute is trying to get back to half guard. Ali Rakhivokov has got the better of the ground game so far. Brute regains half guard. Rakhivokov not doing much here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rakhivokov is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Brute tries to kick Rakhivokov off but Rakhivokov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Brute trying to control here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brute changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rakhivokov tries to avoid it but Brute manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rakhivokov to the ground. Rakhivokov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Brute dives in for a single leg takedown but Rakhivokov sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Brute breaks the clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ali Rakhivokov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Brute gets tackled into the cage by Rakhivokov. Rakhivokov maintains the clinch. Brute tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rakhivokov just stands there and leans against the cage. Rakhivokov jumps guard and drags Brute to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Brute tries to free his leg and advance position but Rakhivokov is retaining full guard. Brute wants to get up but he can't break Rakhivokov's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Rakhivokov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brute can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Brute has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Brute trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brute avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rakhivokov is striking off his back. Brute thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Rakhivokov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Brute pulls his head out easily. Rakhivokov preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Rakhivokov moves into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Brute trying to control but Rakhivokov is working from the bottom. Rakhivokov has his feet on Brute's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Rakhivokov throws a head kick that misses. Brute changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Brute avoids the body shot from Rakhivokov.
Brute shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Rakhivokov has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Brute is on him like a limpet, forcing Rakhivokov back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rakhivokov is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Brute to keep the fight standing. Brute fails to pull guard.
Rakhivokov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rakhivokov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brute. Rakhivokov appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacky Brute. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rakhivokov throws a head kick but Brute moves out of range.
Rakhivokov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Brute blocks the body kick.
Rakhivokov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rakhivokov lands in his opponent's guard. Brute working for a triangle but Rakhivokov defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brute is trying to keep Rakhivokov in close.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Ali Rakhivokov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rakhivokov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
