Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Abram Frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Carlitos Way! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Way tries for a takedown but Frost circles away easily and Frost counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Way looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Frost with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. It looks like Carlitos Way has been cut. Frost taking a breather. Way managing to block the knees to the body from Frost.

Frost lands an elbow that stopped Way in his tracks for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frost stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Frost lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. The cut above Carlitos Way's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Frost lands an elbow inside that Way shrugs off. Frost comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Carlitos Way's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Frost avoiding damage.

With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Ryans! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Russell Pearce and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shappens looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Ryans! Shappens tries to advance to mount but Ryans denies him. Ryans manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Ryans stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Shappens to get to his feet. Ryans connects with an inside leg kick. Shappens looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ryans is controlling Shappens's posture. Ryans avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ryans lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Ryans controlling from the top position.

You can't force these things though and Ryans defends well. Shappens trying to keep a closed guard but Ryans is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ryans takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Shappens wants to improve his position but Ryans is controlling well.
Ryans performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Shappens taking some punishment here, with Ryans in his half guard. Shappens is not content to let Ryans control the position. Shappens slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

It looks like Ryans might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Shappens tries to clinch up but Ryans circles away and keeps his distance. Ryans gets caught napping as Shappens dives in and scores a takedown. Ryans manages to retain guard. Shappens wants to control from the top but Ryans keeps moving. Ryans looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Ryans looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Ryans is looking to take a break and control but Shappens is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ryans decides to stand up, so the ref orders Shappens to his feet. Shappens looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Ryans gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Ryans tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Shappens avoids it. Ryans trying to stall but Shappens improves his position.

Ryans ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ryans no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Ryans has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ryans is breathing heavily. Shappens postures up in Ryans's guard and throws a big left but Ryans blocks it. Shappens has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Shappens trying to control but Ryans is working from the bottom. Shappens wants to get up but he can't break Ryans's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Shappens won't allow Ryans to sweep him here. Rich Shappens is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Shappens misses with a takedown attempt - Ryans sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ryans is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Shappens scores with a punch to the head. Shappens has Ryans up against the cage in a clinch.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Shappens has hold of one of Ryans's legs. Ryans is fighting the takedown attempt but Shappens gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ryans trying to keep a closed guard but Shappens is proving a slippery customer.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rich Shappens will probably get the nod. That's time! Shappens's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Shappens cracks Ryans with a solid left hand. Shappens knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ryans on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shappens throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Shappens loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Shappens stopping the sweep attempt from Ryans. Shappens throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ryans working for a triangle but Shappens defends it easily.
Shappens decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ryans, up you get! Shappens shoots in but no luck this time. Shappens throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Ryans crashing down! Ryans tries to stagger back to his feet but Shappens just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Ryans asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ahola lands a lovely overhand right. Travis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ahola doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Travis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Travis looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Oooooh!!! Ahola has knocked Travis down with a huge combo! Ahola steps away and waves a wobbly Travis back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! It looks like Howie Travis has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Ahola lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Travis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ahola moves away. Ahola looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Some wild striking there from Travis.
Ahola lands a big uppercut and Travis crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Travis looks OK. Ahola waves Travis back to his feet! Travis defending well as Ahola loads up on a big left hand. Travis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Ahola throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Travis throws a big counter combination but Ahola scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Travis has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Travis there as he acknowledges the shot. A jab lands there for Travis. Travis connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Travis throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ahola on the side of the head. Travis lands a slapping body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Travis, as that shot connected.
Ahola avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Travis's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ahola connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Travis scrambles back to his feet.

Travis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ahola moves away. Travis walks into a straight right hand from Ahola. Decent striking displayed by Travis there. Ahola misses the shot to the body. Travis throws a body shot but no joy. A shot to the body from Ahola misses and Travis counters with a nice uppercut. Ahola attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Ahola bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ahola misses with a hook. Travis ducked under it nicely. Travis lands with a hook. Ahola tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Ahola looks to score with a jab to the body but Travis is just out of range. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Travis. Ahola misses with a wild body shot. Ahola takes a step backwards and waves Travis back to his feet - he wants the finish! Travis is rocked! Travis lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Oh Travis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ahola throws a jab when Travis was well out of range. Travis seems to have got his legs back now. Travis throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ahola looks to throw the jab but Travis is out of range. Travis is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Sami Ahola is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Travis moves into the clinch successfully.

Ahola is fending him off so far but Travis persists. Nope, Ahola circles away and we're back to standing. Ahola lands a big head kick that sends Travis tumbling to the mat! Ahola throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Travis lands with a good body shot. Ahola misses with a looping left. Ahola shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Travis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Travis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ahola misses the shot to the body. Travis wants to clinch and Ahola counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ahola on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Travis throws a lazy right hand but Ahola sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ahola stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Ahola lands a slapping body shot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flannigan has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sisko. Flannigan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A kick lands to the mid section there for Sisko. Flannigan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Flannigan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Flannigan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sisko but Sisko pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sisko looks to land a body kick but Flannigan moved away. Flannigan goes for a double leg but Sisko avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sisko continues to drive forward. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Piekny fails to land the takedown. De Floor throws a quick counter head kick but Piekny was just out of range. A kick lands to the mid section there for De Floor. De Floor lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
De Floor looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Piekny avoids the head kick by De Floor.
Piekny walks into a stiff left hand from De Floor. Piekny walks into a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Floor throws a nice inside leg kick. De Floor throws a head kick that misses. De Floor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Piekny. De Floor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. De Floor gets in close and instigates a clinch. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Piekny has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

It looks like Inbred Dagestani Monkey has been cut. Petritis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Dagestani Monkey jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Petritis walks away with a smile on his face. Dagestani Monkey gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Petritis sends Dagestani Monkey crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Petritis is motioning to the referee to let Dagestani Monkey up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Petritis goes for a small jab and connects. Now Petritis goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Dagestani Monkey stumbles back but Petritis runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Dagestani Monkey to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Dagestani Monkey will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Kosar has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Fontaine is landing a low percentage of strikes. Kosar lands a nice looking body shot.
