The fight stays on the outside here - Lampiaun looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lampiaun closes the distance but Takeda moves to the side
and Takeda connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Lampiaun drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Takeda is looking for a sweep.
Lampiaun sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Takeda is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Lampiaun works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
It looks like Genyo Takeda has been cut.
Lampiaun postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cibuka Stilera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Soren Lozano!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stilera fails with a takedown attempt.
Stilera will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Stilera throws a poor cross that misses

and Lozano counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lozano.
Stilera changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lozano fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cibuka Stilera. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lozano throws a shot to the body.
Lozano leaves Stilera with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lozano moves in looking to clinch but Stilera pushes him off.
Lozano stuffs the takedown attempt from Stilera. Stilera gets slowly back to his feet.

Lozano darts in and clinches Stilera up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lozano misses with a short punch on the inside.
A head punch on the inside from Lozano fails to land.
Stilera swings wildly with an uppercut but Lozano uses good head movement to avoid it.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Lozano.
Lozano looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Stilera tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lozano smiles and moves away.
Stilera has been working on his balance at Gym To Nica, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Lozano.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lozano displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stilera.
Lozano checks the leg kick nicely there.
Lozano tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lozano lands with a cross.
Lozano tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Stilera manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Stilera shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lozano but Lozano pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Horrible takedown attempt by Stilera or perhaps it was just good defense by Lozano, which made it look bad.

Lozano scores with a shot to the side of Stilera's head.
Lozano has a couple of punches blocked by Stilera.
Stilera is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Lozano is defending well.
Lozano lands a shoulder strike.
Lozano lands a right hand that snaps the head of Stilera backwards.
Lozano lands a shot to the body.

Stilera decides to pull guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lozano avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Stilera is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lozano got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stilera has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lozano has managed to get both his arms back between Stilera's legs - danger averted.
Lozano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stilera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stilera is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lozano defends well.
Stilera lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Lozano wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Stilera is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lozano is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lozano has escaped and now he's on top!

Stilera throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Stilera has his foot on Lozano's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lozano works his way back into a safe position though.
Lozano won't allow Stilera to sweep him here.

Stilera looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Stilera will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Stilera pushes a forearm under Lozano's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Lozano is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Cibuka Stilera seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
