Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nico World Citizen (ranked 13028 p4p, 2206 weight class) and Nirmal Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 212 weight class). World Citizen comes into the arena with Rich Bitch blaring out of the sound system. Nico World Citizen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 33 - 40 - 4, fighting out of London, Nico World Citizen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nirmal Singh! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! World Citizen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nirmal Singh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. World Citizen jabbing away but nothing is landing. World Citizen throws a body punch but Singh moves out of range. World Citizen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Singh. Singh feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. World Citizen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Singh decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Singh drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Singh stands up and beckons World Citizen to his feet. World Citizen throws a nice looking combination but Singh bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fight moves into the clinch position. World Citizen misses with the head strike.
World Citizen tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Singh lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. World Citizen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Singh counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Singh. Singh is standing up over World Citizen. World Citizen looks to escape but Singh dives into side control.
World Citizen is breathing heavily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Singh looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Singh has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Xtreme Fighting Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Singh is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. World Citizen is trying to escape and Singh transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and World Citizen is forced to tap! Nice work there by Singh! Very nice indeed!
