Sanders shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Richman as he jumps to the side.

and Sanders counters with a three punch combo that has Richman backing up. Richman nods at Sanders to acknowledge the strikes.

Sanders rushes Richman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Richman will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Sanders's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Richman pushes Sanders away with a front kick.
Sanders takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Richman gets tackled into the cage by Sanders. Sanders maintains the clinch.

Sanders changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Richman fights it off and pushes away nicely.

A punch lands to the side of Sanders 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Richman lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Sanders clinches up against the cage.
Sanders is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Richman tries to throw a body punch but Sanders avoids it by throwing Richman back against the cage.

Sanders pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Richman with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sanders looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Richman is fending him off so far but Sanders persists. Nope, Richman circles away and we're back to standing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sanders moves out of range of the leg kick from Richman.
Richman throws a leg kick which misses Sanders's front leg but catches the back leg as Sanders tries to avoid it.
Richard Richman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Richman fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Sanders is out of range.
Richman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sanders's head.
Sanders slips under a jab.
Sanders stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Richman.
Sanders fails with a takedown attempt.

And that's the end of the fight!
Richard Richman showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Richman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
