The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. No luck for Tomás with that takedown attempt. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Gozo Shioda! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sansho. Sansho dives in for a single leg takedown but Shioda sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Sansho sets himself, and Shioda steps forward looking for the clinch! Sansho avoids it this time. Shioda jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sansho walks away with a smile on his face. Shioda gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Sansho gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily #CL2# and Shioda counters by clinching up.
