The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Greer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Jack Manion! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Manion goes for a double leg but Zero avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Zero continues to drive forward. Manion shoots in looking for a takedown. Zero tries to sprawl out of it but Manion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Zero manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Zero is looking to counter the offense by Manion and move into the clinch. Manion misses with a takedown attempt - Zero sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Zero half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Sub Zero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Manion. Manion shoots for a takedown but Zero saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Zero drops down looking for a counter takedown but Manion sprawls and moves away. Zero stuffs a takedown. The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Ettish wants to clinch.
