Tsuruta chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Yagan can pounce on him.

Nice body punch from Tsuruta. Tsuruta staying out of range there. Yagan is looking to wear down Tsuruta with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Tsuruta walks into a jab. Yagan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tsuruta on the side of the head. Bambam Yagan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tsuruta avoids the body shot from Yagan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Okubo tries a head kick but it misses.
Okubo misses with a series of wild punches.
Loman is looking to counter with head kicks. Okubo tries to land a front kick but Loman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Okubo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. It looks like Shunosuke Okubo has been cut. Okubo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Loman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Okubo wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Loman scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Okubo to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Loman away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Okubo got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?! Loman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Okubo throws a half hearted mid kick. Okubo lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Loman throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Okubo crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bubba Dukes! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dukes takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Bubba Dukes has been cut. Dukes misses with a hook
and Ajuricaba counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Dukes on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Dukes is rocked! Dukes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And Ajuricaba counters with a quick kick to the body but Dukes blocks it. Dukes is still on wobbly legs! Can Ajuricaba finish him? Ajuricaba circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Dukes tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Ajuricaba wins by KO!

Mudo comes to the ring accompanied by Rise-Disturbed. Yuki Honda told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Honda tries to clinch but Mudo is having none of it. Donk. Mudo catches Honda right on the button with a cross. Honda walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Mudo connects with an inside leg kick. Honda tries to clinch up and Mudo counters with a lovely straight right hand! Mudo is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Mudo scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Mudo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Honda tries to clinch but Mudo moves out of range. Honda on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Jab by Mudo. Mudo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Honda ducks right into an uppercut from Mudo. Honda tries to clinch but Mudo moves out of range. Mudo cracks Honda with an open hand slap. Honda takes one on the chin but seems OK.

That's one minute gone in the round. Honda fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mudo manages to avoid it. Mudo connects with a jab. Mudo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Honda tries to clinch there but Mudo circles away.
Honda walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Good leg kick by Mudo. Toa Mudo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mudo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Honda under the eye. Honda takes a swing at Mudo's ribcage but misses. Mudo feints and then cracks Honda's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Honda down. Mudo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Honda. Honda takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Mudo is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Mudo cracks Honda with an open hand slap. Mudo keeps the fight on the outside. Honda with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mudo to score with a decent uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mudo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Mudo moves into range and connects with a jab. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mudo, as that shot connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice uppercut lands for Mudo. That snapped Honda's head back.
Honda is rocked! Mudo lands with an overhand left. Honda is still on wobbly legs! Can Mudo finish him? Honda takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Honda has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Mudo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Honda drops his guard momentarily, allowing Mudo to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Honda! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Mudo takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Toa Mudo! During a confident post fight interview, Toa Mudo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
