With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tee Naught! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Maurice King! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Naught fakes a jab and throws a low kick but King checks it well. King throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
King fails with a takedown attempt. Naught pushes King away with a front kick. King has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Naught lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A head kick misses from Naught. King tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Naught misses with an attempted mid kick.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Isiah Dawson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Denzel Rosales! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rosales throws a shot from downtown. Dawson moves away and avoids it. Dawson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Dawson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Dawson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rosales sees it coming and defends easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dawson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Dawson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rosales defends it well. Dawson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rosales's head. Dawson not landing any meaningful shots this time. Jamal Powell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Powell fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Powell scores with a nice right hand.
Powell throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bernard stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Bernard looks winded! Powell scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Powell drops Bernard with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bernard looks back up at him and smiles so Powell waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Jose Bernard has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Powell drives through and clinches with Bernard against the cage.
