The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Vakhvakhishvili darts in looking for a takedown but Gerbandi gets double underhooks and turns Vakhvakhishvili into the cage. Gerbandi tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Vakhvakhishvili manages to circle out of the way. Vakhvakhishvili throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gerbandi's waist but Gerbandi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vakhvakhishvili off to one side. #TD# Gerbandi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Riley shoots in but no luck this time. Stark wants to counter with a clinch but Riley pushes him away.
