Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Belin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rock the Casbah. Paul Hardy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hardy is fending him off so far but Belin persists. Nope, Hardy circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice sprawl there from Belin as Hardy shoots in.

Belin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hardy tries to avoid it but Belin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hardy to the ground. Hardy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hardy throws a low kick, looking for Belin's leg but Belin calmly moves out of range.
Hardy looks to land a left hand but Belin moved out of range nicely.
Hardy throws a shot from downtown. Belin moves away and avoids it.
Belin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Belin throws a lazy right hand but Hardy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Sugar throws a right hand that Harris ducks under and follows up with a left that Harris also avoids with ease.
Harris shoots in but no luck this time.
Harris tries to move into range but Sugar moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Harris shoots in for a double leg but Sugar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sugar scores with a jab to the jaw.
Sugar lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Sugar ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bert Sugar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters circle momentarily. Sugar darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Harris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sugar's waist but Sugar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harris off to one side.

Sugar drops Harris with a beautiful combination! Harris stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sugar is looking for the KO!
