The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allstrander dives in for a single leg takedown but Salazar sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Allstrander is trying to pull guard but Salazar turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. and Salazar counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Allstrander really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Allstrander is staying active underneath Salazar, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Salazar is looking to stall here but Allstrander recovers full guard. Salazar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Allstrander. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Allstrander is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Salazar can't keep his opponent in guard - Allstrander advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Allstrander not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Salazar is looking to control Allstrander's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Salazar avoid being mounted? Allstrander seems to be looking for submissions.

Salazar is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Allstrander is trying to get back to half guard. Salazar misses with the ground and pound.

And that's the end of the fight! Mahjid Salazar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Salazar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morah misses with a takedown attempt enabling Xan to counter with a crisp jab. Xan scores with a nice strike. Morah closes the distance but Xan moves to the side and Xan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Xan avoids the body shot from Morah.

Morah throws a combination that misses and Xan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Xan cracks Morah with an open hand slap. Morah darts in looking for a takedown but Xan gets double underhooks and turns Morah into the cage. It looked like Xan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Morah fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Xan sprawls well initially but Morah persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Xan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Morah. Morah controlling the action here. Xan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Xan. Xan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Morah told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Morah accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Morah throws a big right hand that misses. Morah loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
