Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kesse Nesse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven French! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping leg kick lands for French.
French keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
French throws a body punch but Nesse moves out of range. Nice straight punches there by French. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of French. It looks like Kesse Nesse has been cut. French throws a nice outside leg kick. Nesse scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. French avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Nesse. Nesse working over French with some ground and pound. French looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Nesse missing with the ground and pound from half guard. French felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Nesse seems to be looking for submissions.

French knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Nesse seems to be working for a kimura but French defends the submission attempt. Nesse is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nesse is looking to advance position but French won't allow it. French wants to improve his position but Nesse is controlling well.
Nesse takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. French is looking to control Nesse's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can French avoid being mounted? French wants to improve his position but Nesse is controlling well.
Nesse is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, French has managed to free his arm - good work. Nesse is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nesse is looking for a kimura but French is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nesse to get the leverage. Nesse wants to work for an arm triangle but French is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

French tries to reverse the position but Nesse maintains control. Nesse goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now French is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nesse had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. French defends it easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nesse throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Nesse isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. French stacks Nesse on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by French! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nesse tries to bench press French off him but French keeps the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kesse Nesse will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kesse Nesse's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! French just misses with a punch to the body.

A big left from French misses. Nesse takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Jab, jab by French - just one landing. French is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. French misses with a hook
and Nesse counters with a nice double leg into guard. Nesse missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Nesse tries to free his leg and advance position but French is retaining full guard. Nesse throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as French works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Nesse loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Nesse drops back, looking for a kneebar! French looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. French looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from French!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nesse is looking for a sweep.

French gets to mount! Nesse was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Nesse is desperately trying to improve his position but French has a good base and remains in mount. Nesse wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. French is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Nesse looking very determined here, making life difficult for French.
Kesse Nesse overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

French has good solid back control here. Nesse tries to escape but French has the hooks in and won't let him break free. French has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nesse has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

French is trying to stick to Nesse's back but Nesse is turning into French. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in French's guard. French utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. French has control of Nesse's left arm, preventing Nesse from doing any damage. Nesse works a leg free and moves into half guard. Nesse is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. French doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nesse. French has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nesse is working away from the top position though. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Steven French showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kesse Nesse's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! French is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Steven French seems to be getting the better of the standup. Nesse manages to get an easy takedown there - catching French on his heels. He'll look to pass French's guard now, I'm sure. French trying to control the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James on the wrong end of a nice jab. James gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Stewart keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. James has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Stewart finds it's way round the side to connect with James's head. James shoots in and gets a takedown into Stewart's guard. Stewart wants to control but James passes easily into half guard.
James is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stewart defends it well. Stewart wants to get back to full guard.

James perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Stewart trying to control but James postures up.
Stewart is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. James controlling the pace. Stewart is trying to control James's posture. James takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Stewart! James is rotating here... this could be the end... Stewart is out! James has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!

Gamble plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Gamble uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Gamble fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Gamble fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lau has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Gamble jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Lau throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gamble scoring well with a low kick there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gamble throws a front kick that sends Lau stumbling back into the cage. A head kick by Lau misses and Gamble counters with a lovely straight right hand! Gamble fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Gamble feinted there with a counter leg kick. Gamble lands a slapping body shot.

Lau's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Gamble connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lau's hands. Gamble connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Crunch! Gamble slams his shin into Lau's torso. Lau pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Gamble throws a nice inside leg kick. Gamble connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Gamble fakes the leg kick and cracks Lau in the body. Gamble is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gamble lunges at Lau with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lau's hand. Lau looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Gamble is looking to slow Lau down with leg kicks. A jab from Gamble finds it's way through Lau's defenses. Gamble is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Gamble circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Lau drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Gamble follows Lau to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rob Por! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Por tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Uno appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Uno lands a leg kick that knocks Por off balance momentarily. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Por has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Uno connects with a right hand. Por shakes it off. It looks like Rob Por has been cut. Por walks into a left hand. Por tries to clinch up but Uno circles away and keeps his distance. Por tries to close the distance and clinch up but Uno swats him away and circles back towards the center. Por fails with a takedown attempt. Por takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

That's one minute gone in the round. Uno feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pors jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Por on the wrong end of a nice hook. A slapping body kick lands there for Uno. A slapping leg kick lands for Uno.
Por doesn't succeed with the takedown and Uno counters with a thumping low kick. Uno scores with a leg kick.
Por stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Uno. Por takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Nice shot lands for Uno. Uno scores with a hook to the body. Por takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Uno cracks Por with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Uno has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Por to stand back up! Por is rocked! Por should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Uno connects with a body shot that sends Por's belly button to the back. Por looks to clinch and Uno counters with a big right hand! Oh Por is in trouble here! Uno follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Torrente connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lindberg momentarily.

Torrente uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lindberg. Torrente throws a body punch but Lindberg moves out of range. Lindberg wants to counter with a clinch but Torrente pushes him away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fight moves into the clinch position. Lindberg wants to break the clinch but can't.
Torrente gets through Lindberg's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Torrente comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Torrente just misses with a elbow thrown towards Lindberg's brow. Torrente struggles to land a body shot inside as Lindberg controls his hands.

I was talking to Torrente's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Lindberg tries to circle away but Torrente has him pinned against the cage. Torrente throws an elbow but it misses.

Torrente pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Lindberg has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Torrente seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Lindberg can turn it around. Torrente lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Lindberg tries to break free but Torrente pushes him back against the cage. Lindberg breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Torrente lunges at Lindberg with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lindberg's hand. Lindberg swinging wildly here.

Torrente fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lindberg, pushing him back against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Torrente lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lindberg backwards. Lindberg blocking some punches.
